Deacon
The purpose of the Deacon Ministry is to assist the senior pastor in serving the people of the church and the community, so that the pastor can devote his time to studying, praying, teaching, and preaching the Word.
Each Deacon is assigned to a particular ministry as Spiritual Advisor. Their duties shall consist of:
- Problem solving
- Serving communion
- Leading worship service
- Leading prayer service
- Visiting and communing the sick and shut in
- Baptizing believing candidates
- Helping pastor lift up the name of Jesus
- Confirming the support of the senior pastor is compensated for and sufficient, and in cooperation with exercising of general super tendency over the interest of the church.
