The Reverend Jimmie D. Allen was born on July 28, 1966.  His parents are Jimmie Allen, Sr. and Catherine Allen.  Jimmie grew up in Landover Maryland.  At an early age he began his relationship with Christ.  In 1997 Jimmie would have the first of many life changing experiences.  That’s the year he married the former Katherine Dean of Sumter, SC.  To this union two children were born, Skylar and Jimmie II.

In that same year another life changing experience happened to him and his family.  God led them to Community Bible Baptist Church.  In 2003, Jimmie was ordained as a deacon and oversees the church’s transportation ministry.  In 2008, Deacon Allen announced his calling to preach the gospel.  On September 06, 2008, he was licensed to preach the gospel.  Under the guidance of his Pastor, Rev. Dr. Clevester Wimbish, he enrolled in the Washington Baptist Theological Seminary that same year.  In 2009, Minister Allen matriculated to Maple Springs Baptist College and Seminary where he graduated Cum Laude in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies.  Minister Allen was a Correctional Officer at the DC Correctional Treatment Facility for twenty years.  In 2017, Minister Allen transitioned to the DOC Department of Corrections as Chaplain.

He is a member of the following Prince Hall affiliates:  James H. Lodge #16, Key Stone #11 Royal Arch, Knights of Patagors and Henry A. Dove Consistory # 15 in Washington, D.C.

Besides his love for the Lord, family and the church, Jimmie has two other passions which are fishing and hunting.  Jimmie is one who loves the Lord and knows the power of prayer.  If you ever had a conversation with him, he will tell you “He Touched Me and I'm No Longer the Same".
